Redmond wins Best Grom at Park City Trans Am
Redmond Gerard was killing the course and took home the grom award.

…The contest began with 98 registered competitors. Straight from the beginning the riding was off to an insane start. With in the first 15 minutes Christian Hobush had already board-slid, nose-pressed, and front board-slid the Anon feature. Other riders like Ozzy Henning, and Shelby Layman took to the Zumiez couch feature as well as the Ride feature. Also can’t forget to mention Red Girard who was completely annihilating everything in his path; pretty impressive riding from such a tiny human. He took top grom and received a High Cascade backpack with some goggles from Anon, and hoodie from Giro, and some Coal beanies.
But at the end of the day it was down to three guys, and three girls, as well as a top grom, and best trick…

Redmond, Danny Kass and Nik Baden, while in Aspen filming ESPN/Disney’s Next X
In December Redmond received an early Christmas present, a phone call from Disney asking if he was interested in doing a reality show called, Next X. Since it was an opportunity that most kids only get to dream about, a quick “YA” was Red’s response. Redmond and the family got 2 all expenses paid trips to Aspen. The first trip was to film the majority of the show. The second trip was to come back for the X-Games where Red finished filming by meeting the riders, handing out medals, riding the courses (including the half pipe under the lights) and VIP credentials for Red and the whole family. It was an experience of a lifetime!
